ToolTraq is available in two basic versions - the standard version for single-computer, single-user use and the network version for multiple-computer, multiple-user use.

Other than the installation process, the ToolTraq standard and network versions are identical in look, feel, and use. The ToolTraq standalone version is used on a single computer with the database accessed by only one user at a time.

The ToolTraq network version allows more than one user to access a common shared database from more than one computer on a home or small business network at the same time.

The ToolTraq network version uses a sophisticated but entirely transparent client-server database that allows for an unlimited number of network users.
